Such a relevant topic. Terrific acting and definitely worth seeing.

The playwright did an excellent job of telling three different stories so succinctly. Run time when we went was about 50 minutes, where it was advertised as an hour. Well done cast and crew!

Well done! And so relevant, given what’s happening in the Missouri legislature right now. I don’t go to the theatre often, but am glad we took the time to see this show.

“Beginnings from an End” is a well-acted, well-crafted play which sensitively addresses a woman’s right to choose. The play covers pre-and post-Roe v. Wade and profiles an 18-year old couple on the cusp of beginning their adult lives; a family with three young children, one, an infant, with a life-altering diagnosis; and a young woman in the process of leaving an abusive relationship and already raising two children. The facts affecting their decisions within the political and social environment of their time–from 1970 to 2017–are presented with a light touch and without preaching.
The stories are woven together by a narrator who comments and raises questions–in blank verse, no less.
I was drawn in and deeply moved by each of the stories.
    Highly recommended.

Fantastic. It was as moving an experience I’ve ever had. It was absolutely authentic and important

Well directed, written and acted play! My first fringe festival production, and it was great!
