It may be shot and made on a low budget, but A Dinner Party certainly provides a high level of laughter. Featuring a cadre of comic improvisers who bring their trademark wit to every conversation, the story follows a couple who must deal with an armed stranger in their home who has no intention of leaving even as their guests for an evening dinner party begin to arrive. There are great performances from all involved, plus a ton of clever one-liners and hilarious dialog to make this film highly entertaining from start to finish. I simply loved it. It was zany and even made me reconsider that maybe Friends really did feature a “secret story” that eludes most of its viewers. One last thing: It was shot with multiple endings so I would seriously consider going again and seeing a different outcome to this very amusing short film.

Definitely the most entertaining show I’ve seen at Fringe thus far. Hilarious at times.

This movie is hilarious! I will have to see it again, because the crowd was laughing so much that I missed some of the dialogue! Great work from everyone involved.

Cute story premise but I understand there are several versions.

It’s hard to believe this was an improvised movie, it was so well done! I really enjoyed it- fun story, interesting characters, nice pacing that kept me interested! Each actor had great moments and I laughed out loud several times. Loved the chanting, loved Lyle and his obsession with Clue, loved the couple that desperately wanted to leave. Yay, Fringe! This movie set the bar high for the rest of the festival!

One of my favorite Fringe shows this year! Great improvisation and lots of truly hilarious moments. I’d love to see it again so I can see the different endings.

Pretty good. A little lame in spots. The cops section was a little too awkward.
