Description:
Produced by The Pilot Dance Project (Houston, TX), Aureate is a golden-hued meditation on the human inclination to create rituals, ceremonies, and myths. Based on an evening-length dance work from 2017, collaborators Adam Castan͂eda and Ashley Horn investigate their spiritual impulses following the COVID-19 pandemic, the George Floyd murder, and the continual string of school shootings. Aureate is a quiet call for peace, a longing for the magical possibilities of shared humanity.

Not what I understood it was going to be from the description. I thought it was going to be protest ballet.
Beautiful show and commentary of culture. It had a meditative vibe. The group is so talented. I highly recommend this experimental critique of living and connection.
