About the Show:
Critically-acclaimed comedian Jamie Campbell says most people assume he’s a parent since he’s oozing dad vibes, but he doesn't actually have any kids. In a show that is perfect for anyone who grew up in the 80s/90s, Campbell’s pop culture nostalgia, and humor-filled soul-searching will resonate with Gen-Xers and Millennials. During his performance, he details what it’s like to get married as you approach middle-age and realize you’re going to let the clock run out on the possibility of parenthood. It's a show about fatherhood from a guy who doesn’t have any children.
About the Artist:
Jamie Campbell is a nationally touring stand-up comedian, actor, screenwriter, storyteller, and improviser. His debut album, Tell Me You’re Proud of Me, debuted at #1 on Amazon’s comedy charts. In Chicago, where he began his career, he was named the city’s “Best Stand-Up Comedian” by The Chicago Reader. You may recognize him from his appearances on NBC’s Chicago Fire, the Pop Network’s Hollywood Darlings, his recent super bowl ad alongside Kristin Chenoweth, or a series of music videos by hiphop legend Tech N9ne.

This show was a HIT at the Tucson Fringe Festival! Jamie is a great storyteller, and show has a good mix of laugh out loud funny and heartfelt moments and as a Gen Xer I totes related! But the “younguns” in the audience were smiling right along with me too
Don’t miss this show! Jamie Campbell is very funny — he’s a thoughtful, witty writer, and does great physical comedy too. He’s also a great singer/performer and the songs in this show are hysterical. Whether you have or want kids or not – this show is relatable. Somehow, while being funny Jamie also manages to tap into some deeper stuff without being heavy-handed or taking you out of the moment. He has so much depth! Really great comedy often has some real, deep stuff at its core. Jamie’s brilliance is how he manages to do all of that while making you laugh and the best part is, you feel uplifted at the end of the show. It’s not to be missed.
Jamies hit the stage with high energy then rolled into his comedy show. When he’s here next, do yourself a favor and see him. You will be glad you did.
Oh,and Dennis, you’re welcome. I apparently paid for your show.
