WONDERFUL!!! Spectacular performance from a brilliant actor and orator. Tim Mooney is expressive, quick-witted, and manages to take his audience through the highest highs, lowest lows, and bawdiest of Nurse jokes Shakespeare had to offer in this iconic play in a cool 58 minutes. STUNNING!
It’s just the start of the weekend, but I can almost guarantee this will be a winner. DON’T MISS IT!!!
Tim is an incredible performer and this show does not disappoint! Go see it!!
This is my second show I’ve seen from Tim, his show is always amazing! I encourage anyone to take the time to see his brilliant work! Bravo!
Tim is absolutely wonderful. We have seen 3 of his previous shows and this one did not disappoint. Really fun, educational and entertaining.
Brilliant is an understatement. This man is so smart, and kind, and warm, and mesmerizing. He’s so real. The hard work this must have taken was palpable. Go see this show! This is expertly cut and wonderfully explained and artistically enacted. Bravo!
Timothy Mooney did a terrific performance of Romeo and Juliet! He did not miss any of the main plot twists. He did use the entire hour so plan your travel time for other shows afterward.
I saw Tim a few years ago doing a different Shakespeare, so I knew this one was one I wanted to see. He did not disappoint. I was one of those HS student bored with lit class. PLEASE go see this. It’s amazing
Tim Mooney is a multi-city and multi-award winning pro on the Fringe circuit. Been coming to KC for a decade or more? NEVER disappoints.
His encyclopedic knowledge of classical lit is astounding (has woven multiple Shakespeare plays in one hour, Shakespeare Roulette, Moliere Than Thou, …). When my friend asked after the play, he shared how it takes 6 months to write and memorize, and then another 6 months to perfect the production. And it shows.
If you’ve ever enjoyed Shakespeare in the Park for 3 hours in the sun, come see Shakespeare with a twist (Romeo and Juliet woven in and out of an alternate universe), and the always brilliant performances of Tim Mooney.
KC is lucky that he shares his talents with us year after year.
Tim is a master of what he does.
Not just in the condensing of Shakespeare but also in his presentation.
His physically in storytelling is excellent!
Tim Mooney is exceptional in these one-man shows. Very funny and very informative; I thought I knew Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet pretty well, but still learned a couple of new things in this presentation. Very cleverly done and highly recommended.
Timothy Mooney is one of the reasons I keep coming to the KC Fringe. His energy and knowledge of Shakespeare to present Romeo and Juliet in an hour is breath-taking. He is brilliant. I enjoyed his storytelling and characterizations were spot on. This is not Romeo and Juliet the way you learned it in school. This is Romeo and Juliet the way you wished you had learned it at school. Timothy intertwines Shakespearean language with modern-day observations that makes Shakespeare relevant today.
Great performance! Saw his show last year as well and he doesn’t disappoint. Hope he’s back next year!
Another great show by Tim. Always a joy to see his take on Shakespeare.
