Based on personal interviews and research, JAMMED is a musical that sheds light on the growing epidemic of human trafficking. Through story, song, dance and spoken word, we learn the harrowing details of what it means to be trafficked. From grooming, exploitation, rescue, and the hard realities of life after being trafficked, JAMMED hopes to move us to action. Excellent message on an important topic. The agony and desperation came through in the lyrics and the music was beautifully performed. The dancing was powerful and also beautifully performed.
I just witnessed this show tonight. I kept holding my breath without even realizing it! It was so real, so profound. I felt like I could reach out and touch it. So hard to put into words, the profound difference it made in my life! The show itself, the music, lyrics, dance and the words. Every single one of them! I wanted more! I also loved the messages at the end on human trafficking! How to recognize it, what to do! It was so, “ in your face”, in all the right ways. I recently saw, “Sound of Freedom” at the theater! The timing of JAMMED was just amazing! This is a subject that cannot be ignored. This show brought it so much closer to home then the movie ever could. I am forever changed.
Powerful performances! Real tears. Real anguish! I forgot they were acting. I grew up with Chicago theater. The music, the lyrics were insanely genius! Pierced the heart! Well done!

I loved the music in this musical and learned something about the sex trafficking industry. The Musical was very powerful. I also really liked all the actors performing. They did an excellent job of bringing in and connecting with the audience.

This story was incredibly captivating, keeping you hooked till the very end. The final melody left you feeling empowered, as its amazing music echoed in your soul. The way they used dance to express emotions was truly fascinating and added a unique aspect to the whole experience.

A highly informative piece which provides a view point from many different angles regarding the sex-trafficking industry in the United States. This show contains some challenging material with all of the beautiful art forms the theatre uses to tell stories such as contemporary dance, song, dialogue, and verse. An artistically diverse creation for the purpose of social awareness you won’t soon forget.
This show far exceeded anything that I have seen in a while. Not only is the acting superb enough to transport a person to another world but the music by Kelsie Clark Massey transcends time and space. EVERYONE needs to hear what this team has to say. This story and subject affects every person and was told so beautifully with poise and delicacy. Thank you for letting us share in your stories and listen to what needs to be heard.

“Jammed” was a new way of bringing one’s attention to the hard facts about human trafficking. Using powerful words, strong song and voice, and dance that brought an element of experiencing the pain a victim felt, it was an outstanding performance. Lots of talent on and off stage. Praying more people take the time to come and watch this play and open their eyes to the truth that this is a world wide epidemic that needs to be exposed and eradicated.

Truthful, powerful storytelling of the lives of 4 women impacted by sex trafficking in varying ways. Beautiful, honest songs that rang with hope for redemption and freedom. This is a MUST SEE musical that will break your heart open for women who are trapped in prostitution and remind you that the voice of every woman matters! When you have a gifted songwriter+passionate advocate, you get a musical like Jammed!

I was absolutely floored by this show tonight! The message, the delivery, and depth was a privilege to witness tonight. There was a moment when a dancer was doing movement and breaths in silence. It was so powerful to watch, I felt tears rolling down my cheeks. The songs were incredible and the the actors performed them to perfection! Such an important subject for our culture.
