Kyle Lilley is a young local artist trying to make a name for himself in Kansas City. Gathering inspiration from artists before him, most notably Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jean Dubuffet, and Cy Twombly. At only 20 years old, he is still trying to find his own path in the art world with the main component of his practice up to this point being experimentation. Whether it be abstract expressionism or neo expressionism the artist is constantly seeking new ways to evolve and develop his work.
