Description:
The sculpture of the “3DDD Dead Sea” was made by using the sea's length, width and depth to create a literal body of water standing on its head. The embryonic form is seen through a black and gold gate, representing the transcendence of the eternal human struggle between the spiritual and material worlds. The transcendence is especially significant since the Dead Sea is located at the lowest place on earth and at the center of an age old conflict. It is also on the brink of environmental extinction.
