   Interesting show. Glad I went, but not sure I can easily describe it. (I consider that a virtue, not a detriment.) Great dancers. The highlight was the audience interaction where the dancers left the stage — wish there had been more of that. (The on-stage dancing, though very strong, went on for maybe about 5-10 minutes longer than I would have preferred; would have preferred this time used for the audience interaction instead, but that’s a minor quibble.)

   Audience has full leeway to stand up, dance, speak in microphones, etc. My audience (me included) did not take full advantage of this, though we did all enjoy playing the show-provided musical instruments!

   I haven’t seen anything quite like this in KC before. I recommend going, particularly if you can go with friends who will get into the interactivity.

   Boring video behind the dancers, who stayed up on their stage for the entire time.
   Boring improvisational movement of the dancers onstage.
   No interaction of the dancers with the audience, which was as John Adams has described above.
   Can you tell, I was bored ?
   I went on a Monday at 6pm, after many people may have had a hard weekend without power in their homes.
   The idea probably worked much better in the outdoor spaces of KC Downtown and Asheville.
   Not recommended in this venue, unless you like being very bored !

   The show was very unique. Combines video of all over KC with different sounds and then layers the dancing on top of it all. Definitely a lot of different things going on that may be hard to follow for some.
   I went to the show on Tuesday and it seemed to have a lot participation from the crowd. I noticed a number of people that picked certain spots that seemed to resonate with them and they would start making rhythmic noises to correspond to the performance. As they would increase in volume, others would jump in and join them to the point where we had a chorus of participants for several periods during the show.
   I can see how this dynamic might not work perfectly each time, since it does seem to rely on the right kind of audience who are willing to really engage with it.
   I would say you should go ready for a new experience and have fun!
