The idea of a magician performing card tricks for 45 minutes for a group of adolescents and pre-adolescents sounds outlandish, until you see this performance. The way he carries this off is to perform at such a frantic pace that the kids cannot catch their breath. (Apparently influenced by Juan Tamariz, with a touch of Bill Malone). This definitely is not what one would normally consider “children’s magic.” It is sophisticated sleight of hand, performed flawlessly, but with s sense of humor that keeps the audience fully engaged. While magicians will appreciate his skill, general audiences will also appreciate his sense of humor and will envy his ability to keep youngsters of this age entertained for such a long stretch of time. If you are not a magician, you probably won’t be able to figure out any of the routines, so just enjoy them–and watch the faces of the youngsters at the table with him.
