My Favorite Things: " The Chocolate Mixtape" - Cia Michelle

I caught Cia Michelle two years ago at the 2019 KC Fringe Festival and recognized her talent. She is back with a filmed version of a live performance which she was able to put together with a number of excellent backup musicians and guest artists.

Cia Michelle can sing in many different genres, can improvise and scat, and she is able to actively engage her audience.

The production values are a bit sketchy now and then and the camera work is simple, but it seldom detracts.

This is an interesting and engaging and entertaining way to spend an hour, especially for jazz fans.
