Terms and Conditions
By submitting this application you, hereafter referred to as THE ARTIST, are agreeing to this contract
and all of its stipulations. This agreement between THE ARTIST and the Kansas City Fringe Festival,
hereafter referred to as KC FRINGE, supersedes any other verbal or written agreement in regards to
any works of visual art submitted or donated to KC FRINGE.
KC FRINGE reserves the right to make use of any images submitted by THE ARTIST in promotional
and informational print. This includes, but is not limited to, any image provided with applications as
well as any image emailed to a kcfringe.org email addresses, or images submitted through file
sharing tools such as Dropbox or Google Drive. KC FRINGE will make every effort to protect THE
ARTIST’s rights by limiting any internet posting of THE ARTIST’s work to 72 dpi low resolution images
with watermarks containing THE ARTIST’s name, and that the image was provided for the Kansas
City Fringe Festival.
KC FRINGE, and by extension any site serving as a gallery or theatre for KC FRINGE, reserve the
right not to display any piece of art without reason or explanation. THE ARTIST should provide
images of body of work (i.e. 3-5 images representative of your work) intended for display at time of
application so the kcfringe.org website may choose which pieces they will display. The artwork will be
reviewed by the venue prior to display. If an image is not submitted and selected, the artwork will not
be allowed in the show.
Prior to display, THE ARTIST will be required to fill out a form listing all artwork they are hanging and
its worth.
KC FRINGE will not turn over artwork to any buyer; it is THE ARTIST’s responsibility to conduct that
transaction.
Upon application for the show you will be subject to a gallery fee of $100 due by Apr. 30, 2022. This
fee is non negotiable and non refundable. You will not be in the show or program if this fee is not paid
in full. If the artist makes any sale during the duration of the festival, KC FRINGE will collect 10%.
We reserve the right to refuse any application for any reason.
