  1. Starts in an hour (Friday @7:30). Haven’t seen it yet, but saw Laura Packer do an amazing Baba Yaga show last year. She’s a multi-award winning Fringe circuit pro, that never fails to deliver. Her storytelling skills will transport you.

Wonderfully entertaining and educational show with folk stories from around the world. Don’t miss this amazing performance.

  6. Fabulous telling of long hidden gems of racy folktales. Laughed outloud at some outlandish sexual images. The tales of death were haunting and at the same time touching. A wonderful show !

This is my second time seeing Laura. The first being Baba Yaga at KC fringe 2023. Just being in Laura’s energy is a gift. This particular collection of stories was a real treat. Laura captures the shared humanity across many cultures stories beautifully.

  10. WOW! This was mesmerizing. What a gorgeous, funny, comforting set. Every set is different, and I genuinely wish I could go back in time and see her last 3 shows this festival. But she has one more on Friday! If I wasn’t already seeing another show at the time, believe me, I would be back in that audience! So YOU should be there to see Laura on Friday!

Sex and Death was a delightful evening of folktales about sex and death. Stories were funny, poignant and thoughtful. This was another side of Laura Packer to enjoy. Sex and death are a part of life that we rarely confront. Laura brought stories that made us think and laugh. Every set is different . Her last show is on Friday. Make room in your life for Sex and Death.

  13. I thoroughly enjoyed Laura’ show, The stories were fun, a little bit bawdy, touching, and thought provoking. She draws the audience into her stories so that we are sharing a journey, a place, a situation with her as she shares the stories with us. Unfortunately she only has one more show in this fringe and that is on Friday, July 26. But that means there is one more opportunity to see and hear her. Thank You Laura for these stories that remind us sex is funny and death is not something to be feared.

  14. Thank you for a wonderful weaving once again!

  15. A wonderful way to spend an hour. Laura is a beautiful story teller and person. Don’t miss your chance to feel this experience.

Comforts the disturbed and disturbs the comfortable. Gaze in awe upon the bountiful field of f*cks.

Laura’s storytelling feels like a big warm hug with a mischievous tickle snuck in now and then. A delight!
