The Adventures of Radioactivity Man and One Eyed Electrical Socket - Iris Inn Productions

Reviewed By Taylor Hudson

“The Adventures of Radioactivity Man and One Eyed Electrical Socket”, written and directed by Joshua Gleeson is a nostalgic, high-energy, pun-packed great time. Iris Inn Productions’ first-ever Fringe offering is a playful production that had audience members of all ages laughing. An impressive sound design anchors the production firmly in a cartoony world that could only exist in the imagination of a child. Brightly colored costumes and skillfully rendered cardboard props add a touch of polish that many Fringe shows lack.

Radioactivity Man is an ego-driven superhero who must save the city from a troupe of supervillains and hopefully learn a lesson or two along the way. Robert Vardiman leads the ensemble with a zealous swagger that suits the hero well and Jamie Lin Pratt is a delight as Sir Lady Scream-A-Lot. Catch this hilarious super-hero adventure and bring the kids for a good time!
