Really great show. Well done!
I absolutely LOVED this show. Incredibly funny and made me feel all the feelings.
Very thought provoking. However, it was 75 mins in length.
Hi Chris! I believe you are talking about my first performance with Fringe! I went back and edited some audio and re-arranged some things after that night. So it is now 60 minutes.
Glad it was thought provoking 🩷 Thanks for supporting the show!
An Adolescent Cabaret is a beautiful exploration of the powerful experiences and deeply felt emotions that childhood and growing up bring. It is a work of art that explains the complexities and challenges of the mind of a neurodivergent child – Madilynn, herself. Madilynn is a brilliant artist! She brings the audience from laughter, dancing and singing, to tears, and then peace in just one hour. She creates a space that not only allows her childhood self to be free, but the audience’s, as well. This devised theatre piece is one you don’t want to miss!
An incredible experience from start to finish. A dive into the brain of a young girl discovering who she is. So well created & curated Madilynn presents a wonderful journey for the audience. Funny, vulnerable and powerful An Adolescent Cabaret is a MUST SEE!
Absolutely incredible show! An Adolescent Cabaret ended an hour ago and I’m still crying, and laughing, no…now I’m crying again. The nostalgic songs and references pulled me in, but Madilynn’s raw honesty, silliness and pain moved me to tears. I’m so thankful for the journey through Madilynn’s childhood, so I could reconnect with my own younger self. I wish I had seen it sooner so I could see it again!
This brilliant show captures all the feelings. I laughed, I cried, I felt empathy and I was proud. Proud of a young woman with ADHD who has worked through her struggles and is now strong, confident and successful. This piece of art was FANTASTIC!! Kudos, Madilynn!!
