I had an AMAZING time at Gleequel, I actually wrote a full-length review, you’re happy to read it if you you’d like. If you aren’t a fan of Glee, this probably isn’t the show for you, but either way, I bet you’d have a blast listening to old radio hits. If you’re a fan of glee, this IS THE SHOW FOR YOU!!

* Rating – 3.5 out of 5
* 1-sentence review – Even if you’ve never seen the TV hit “Glee,” this original script was made for any show choir/singing group alumni to enjoy.
* 3-sentence review – Using the arc of the hit TV show “Glee,” you’re taken on a journey of a jukebox musical paired with farce and vignettes found in the LGBTQ+, reflective, goofy culture of show choirs, making this perfect for some Fringe goers but not accessible for others who’ve never taken part in the culture itself. The script felt uncompromised, leaving lots of unheard moments of dialogue, a very full stage of a lot of dancing that was sometimes hard to keep track of, and backtracks that sometimes kept in the original vocals, assisting the singers onstage a bit more than it should have. However, I haven’t laughed so frequently and fully with a show in a long time, seeing my own show choir journey much more vividly than when I ever watched the original TV show this production is based on.
