Reaching the Write Minds – Young Playwriting Workshop

To give a voice to emerging young writers, the Coterie offers a teen playwriting seminar during which students will learn to devise dialog and action, script writing format, build characters, write two monologues, create a setting, and begin the creation of a scene. Following this seminar, participants may be selected to develop their plays through The Coterie‘s Young Playwrights Roundtable and have their work produced on a professional stage!

Location: Crown Center Coterie Theatre School Classroom (More info on location upon registration)

Available to teens going into 8th -12th grade

Date & Time: Saturday, July 26th, 2025, 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Cost: $25 per person (Participants are required to bring their lunch.)
