In American Alphabet, Fishtank resident artists Lisa Cordes and Damian Torres-Botello replace the traditional “R”s of Reading, ‘Riting, & ‘Rithmetic with the more timely Race, Religion, & Rant, as they guide the audience through their personal lessons on the subjects you aren’t supposed to talk about in polite company. They have their own chalkboard and they’re not afraid to use it.
