A bloody bluegrass tragedy based on Euripides’ The Bacchae, Scott Cox’s Buck Hoss is the story of fanatical Pentecostal preacher Denison, who upon his arrival in the Blue Ridge, coaxes all the women out of their homes and into the woods to worship with him. Angered by the disruption, the local congregation of men ban together to stop Denison, and bring their women home. The final confrontation ultimately ends in catastrophe. A world premiere!
