Belly Dance on the Fringe returns to the 2016 festival with A Cinderella Story. It’s petty much the story we all know and love, but this origin tale from Egypt has a few subtle differences. Joyce Slater, our Story Teller Extraordinaire, and soloists from Kansas City, 1001 Arabian Nights and Raghsidad , will illustrate the story with a narrative, music and dance that will fill your senses with love light and beauty . The program will include dances from in Alexandria, Cairo and Luxor, Egypt, as well as American Cabaret and Belly Dance Fusion styles. It’s an all ages show with something for everyone.
