Br. John gives it his all! I’m so glad I finally got to see this Fringe veteran. On the night that I went the supportive crowd was singing and dancing in their seats and gave him a standing ovation. Great work Br. John!

Saw this today and, as always, Brother John pours his heart, soul, and considerable singing and acting talent into channeling one of the most beloved artists of the 20th century, Otis Redding! Not only were we treated to some of the best loved songs, but he cleverly interspersed fascinating facts from Redding’s life, in the form of an interview we get to see.It was a sold-out show, so be sure to plan ahead to catch one of the remaining two performances!

Barbara, you’re making me blush with sheer humility. Thank you so much for your support. It’s all the friends & fans like you that keep me bringing my “A” game-doing what I do for you! Blessings!

My only regret about this show is not leaving this review soon enough.

The show is great, full of fantastic singing, masterful acting and underappreciated music history. Highly recommend. Get out and see it now!

I’ve been to a bunch of Br. John’s shows over the years, but this may be the best. His voice and energy coalesce with the spirit of Otis Redding with an uplifting rush!

Great show, lots of energy. Loves how he gives history with song. I always find out something I didn’t know. He always gets the audience involved.

Brother John, Rick and Suzette never cease to amaze me!!! Their soulful rendition and storytelling is amazing and I always feel like I’m getting some of the best wisdom while watching the shows! I caught the show last Sunday and my mother, sister and I loved it! I always come to see Br John and the crew whenever I can during the FRINGE! From Cab Calloway, Sam Cooke and Otis Redding, Br John is sure to always delight and give 200% onstage!!!

Great show, but I felt packed in like sardines at the Saturday 6pm show. I’m glad it was well attended.
Br. John needs a larger venue to accommodate the energy and presence of this wonderful show.
