Description:

Xylem Lines is one man's enigmatic journey of self exploration, conservation & preservation. Through an emotional road map of chaos, healing & growth; a vast wilderness of human experience is traversed in regards to environmental influences, the need for change & the passing of time. By infusing spoken word, songs & projections a new path is forged & emotional landscapes are navigated. This alchemy of evolution is personified by reading between the lines & not missing the forest for the trees.

        Tremendous performance by Matt Marcum this evening. I would recommend this show to anyone! Great spoken word format as well as the great musical masterpiece that Matt has constructed. Keep up the good work Matt and keep challenging your audiences to open their minds and souls as life is full of Xylem Lines! Also, I was very impressed with your support crew and the great jobs they did! Shout out to Kelly and Shawn for a great team effort. If you can make the 9pm show this Saturday 7-30, you will be glad you did. Once in a lifetime experience!

    An engaging presentation of spoken-work poetry, song, and visual projection to convey a journey. In particular, Marcum’s voice captivated me with every note. I was also partial to the healing poem. You will not be disappointed!
