A Powerful story of Love, Family, and History.
An autobiographical narrative that gives you glimpses into the family history that creates the powerful character on stage crafting his narrative.

This was an astonishingly good show: the acting, the writing, the staging. A masterclass.
The script never talks down to the audience, even though it may take us a while to piece our way through the three generations that this play jumps into and out of. Little by little, we get it, and we pick out themes in these three lives that live (more or less) in the blood of these very different characters and the essential truths that drive each of them.

Bloodline is a genealogical journey that makes you feel the tension and delight, conviction and blessings of Black male love. Paris’ embodied storytelling as three generations of Crayton men was demanding. There were moments reflecting family trauma passed down generations and also moments of tenderness. Hugs for Paris for the bravery and humanity of his spirit and that of his dad and grandfather.

This show is a MUST SEE a story if intergenerational and unconditional love starting with Paris Sr. and telling the stories of the men who carry his legacy in name and heart! It is a beautiful view of the layers of Black Men and the importance of Love! I will definitely be seeing this show again and would recommend it to any and everyone! Paris tells a story of his life going in and out of characters. He plays his grandfather, father and himself. Paris’s acting abilities were impressive as he demonstrated vulnerable emotions between each character. I found his story moving and inspiring. I went with two friends and all three of us teared up at certain parts of the story. A must see!

This show was wonderful! The emotions this young man put into the 3 characters were real and the stories were compelling. One of the best I’ve enjoyed over the years of Fringe shows I’ve seen.

This was a fabulous show!! One of the best I’ve ever seen at any Fringe over the years. This young man showed so many different emotions, and made the 3 men come to life. I’m so thankful I was able to see this.

Bloodline was an incredible one-man epic. Such an incredible portrait of three generations of black men, each dealing with their own distinct challenges. The son wrestling with his sexuality, the father wrestling with his wife and keeping the family together, and the grandfather wrestling with the world. It was a really powerful, multi-decade saga and Paris Crayton performs these men with brilliant nuance, careful reflection, and dynamic impact. I highly recommend this show.

MUST SEE! One of the best fringe shows I’ve seen since the beginning of KC Fringe. Powerful story of three generations of black men in one family. It’s about love, and struggles with relationships and mental health. Fantabulous acting. Standing Ovation that lasted for several minutes. Do your self a favor and come see this beautiful and amazing story of how this young black actor/writer/artist came to be.

Paris is a brilliant actor/storyteller/writer – he completely owns the stage and is riveting to watch. Heartfelt, poignant and real character studies. Very moving and involving.
    Truly excellent one-man show.

    Red Roses, Sir Paris,
Thank you for sharing your BLOODline. I love the one man show, layout and conversations about the fellas and there struggle as Black Man in america…

A good one man show. He does a great job playing different characters

From the first moments, you know you are in the safe hands of a gifted performer. The characters are vibrant and detailed and you root for each one of them. The writing supports the fine acting and staging. The lifting of fatherhood and family through the generations, the love shown in this third generation is the victory. I love theater when I leave feeling like I met people. The standing ovation, and what we all shared makes me hope we’ll get to know the women in this family too – maybe a full play one day. We would all benefit.
