    Abby has a great show! The mix of poetry that is so real and reliant, with her humor is truly spectacular!

    Abby is even funnier this year in this mad cap blend of poetry and comedy. Don’t miss this one.

    The show Gen Z (and all the other generations) didn’t know they needed. If you don’t think Spoken Word and Stand Up can mix, Abby’s in the Sparkle Room at Westport Flea Market to show you how it’s done.. Innovative and enlightening, it’s terribly funny and also makes you think about all the nuances of 21st century existence. The hour is up and you want more. Sign of a hit. Go see it!

    Awesome blend of comedy & poetry – & comedic poetry! Abby weaves in & out of different topics & stories in a way that keeps you on your toes. They keep you engaged & intrigued for an hour – a true feat in live performance. If you like to laugh – & like a good reframe on something you took for granted or never previously considered – I cannot recommend this fringe show highly enough.

    What a delight! Smart, warm, and funny. Abby will have you both cracking up and way deep in your feelings, all while also making you want to spend the rest of your night rewatching old movies.

    * Rating – 4.5 out of 5

    * 1-sentence review – This show emphasizes pop culture references some may not understand, but the production’s delivery, pacing, and education is something everyone should see and learn from.

    * 3-sentence review – Abby Bland is the definition of a performer who knows exactly who they are, steadfast in their identity, intelligence and exponential growth. Balancing a setlist of poetry and comedy, this hybrid art experience may feel unfamiliar, perhaps off-putting and isolating, if you yourself haven’t seen or indulged in various pop culture media given her primary writing style. But Bland’s well-rounded voice, their expansive writing past pop culture, and overall performance delivery is full of sugar, spice, fire, and flare, giving everyone an experience of something they didn’t know could feel so familiar and satisfying.
