Tyler shared intimate details of his college activities in fun and serious ways. He was active in theater and is aspiring to be professional, which I have no doubt that he will be successful. Thanks Tyler for sharing and being uplifting! I look forward to following your career, knowing Kansas city saw you first!

This show was a blast. So much insite on the journey of an actor through his college career. Tyler has a knack for immersing himself into his roles & becoming the character he is playing. KC Fringe Festival was the perfect opportunity for him to showcase his talents. The lighting was spectacular thanks to Tinna. You two make a great team.

What a wonderful story to experience Tyler’s journey and the range of his talents. The lighting by Tinna was perfect. The overall message touched my heart as I sat next my niece who aspires to pursue theatre. This show was a gift to experience!

A unique powerhouse performance showcasing the performances of the actor’s theatrical college career and using them to tell as story of perseverance, redemption growth, goal setting and staying in the moment. Certainly not the last we will hear from local dynamo Tyler Lundquist – a versatile character actor with a strong physical and emotional stage presence.

I was lucky enough to attend Tyler’s performance today. He took the audience through different stages of his development in acting. Characters, emotions and visual changes emerged before our very eyes. Shakespeare came to life today! Excellent show! Excellent lighting! So glad I saw this show!

One of the most thought-provoking and inspiring performances I have ever witnessed, and that is not an impulsive reaction after just recently seeing the production. Slide into your seat and get comfortable as you settle in for a spiritual awakening within yourself as the viewer. Through the journey performed on stage, I discovered more and learned more about my own journey both within myself and without. I found it shocking and emotionally constructive. I thought it made sense dramaturgically.

Immensely touching and so smart. Tyler’s presence is arresting. It was such a privilege to experience this in the intimate environment of the Whim space.

As with so many Fringe shows, you really dont know what you’re going to walk into. I am SO THANKFUL I found this show. Tyler starts off with a bang. Monologue from Shakespeare. From the ‘get go’ you are immersed into his craft. As he shares stories from this theatre work in college, Tyler moves into a different character and, if you’re willing to travel with him (and I was, you are engrossed with his talent. You dont see him. You see that particular character. This young man is going places and I’m happy to say he started this in Kansas City.

Absolutely incredible!!! Tyler & Tinna have curated a beautiful show that takes you through a journey. You’ll be emotional at one minute and laughing in the next. A true work of art that teaches us a better way to live life.

Fascinating insight into the development of actors and their craft.
This is the sort of show that you’ll later be able to say, “I saw Tyler way back when…”

The world of Fringe is where you can find many styles. Mind-set has about a dozen of them in just this one show. His search for authenticity in life and in art will amaze you.

If you see this show, you too will look forward to whatever this mind produces for next year’s 20th Anniversary KC Fringe.

This show was a real and delightful insight into Tyler’s journey of finding out who he is. Not only did we get to see his authentic self shine through, but he sprinkled in some phenomenal famous monologues to help him along. A solo show is not an easy task and he succeeded in it and I was so happy to be along for the ride.
