Description:
Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed: The Rock Experience is a rock 'n roll parable with a significant message for today's audiences, based on the hit children's book by Mo Willems. Wilbur and all his fellow naked mole rats in the Tunnel have always been, well...naked. Wondering what other possibilities are out there, Wilbur discovers a love for clothing and style. When word of his new passion turns the Tunnel upside down, he proves to everyone that there's no need to be just like everyone else.

This is such a cute show! Whether you’re 8 or 84, you’ll enjoy this show!
Cute show but painfully loud, especially during frequent squealing (screaming). It was perfect volume wearing ear plugs. Kids may need need noise canceling headphones to prevent damage.

I worry for the actors vocal health, but that’s on the director not the actors.
I thought this show was fun. There were plenty of jokes that hit and had the whole crowd laughing. I would tell anyone to come see this and bring your kids. They interact with the audience really well throughout the show. Everyone in stage brings it and the guy who played Wilbur can sing!
Fast moving fun show…lots of laughs.
Show was incredible. Very high energy, family friendly and there were a lot of laughs. My favorite naked mole rat was Ethan. He brought a lot of excitement throughout the show and I would definitely watch another show that he is in.

This show was amazing! Wilbur is an excellent performer with amazing vocal skills! The rest of the cast were remarkable as well!! They worked well together and seemed to enjoy themselves! The kids enjoyed themselves and the adults found humor in quite a few lines meant for them. If you want to take your kids to see a wholesome show with a message, go see Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed! You won’t regret it!
Great performance with a great redemption and revelation story. Wonderful performance with lots of energy and humerus puns and moments throughout. Great for the entire family. Outstanding performance by the cast!

What an amazing show! The energy, acting, and singing were fantastic!! My kids have been debating the entire drive home about who their favorite mole rats were. My husband and I had a great time too!

This show was an absolute delight. I laugh-cried the entire way through. This cast brings a wonderful energy to the stage that is captivating for kids AND adults. Aside from the packed hour of hilarity, this show brings a great message for all. Great job to the cast, crew, and director- the hard work is evident and it is paying off!
Super awesome show for any age! The set was clever and the choreography was high energy and the staging helped the audience track the fast pace of the show. Cast did a great job of engaging the audience and by the end, there was a lot of interaction from kids in the audience joining in on the last scenes. That’s when you know it’s a fabulous show! Congrats to the director, cast and crew!
If you’re looking for a cheesy nonsensical show for children this is it. There was too much screaming for my kids and I’s tastes. Some lines were lost due to unintelligible screaming. I worry for the actors vocal health, but overall a quite charming show. Venti carried a ton of energy and belongs in a rock and roll band. Wilbur was such a sweetheart and another one of our favorites. The astronaut/Bowie bit was hilarious. Good job Molerats!
This show was so fun ! The music was catchy with a super cute story, that the actors really brought to life. I would recommend to everyone !

Absolutely loved the show. The cast worked perfectly together and all of the vocals were spot on. Very funny with a great lesson of not always following the norm. Great for all ages.
A truly fun children’s show that will rock your socks ON. Lots of hilarious moments and even audience interaction that made this production special. Talented performers with wit, timing, and excellent singing and dancing. The scenery was simple, cute, and very versatile. I loved the use of the projector screen throughout.
The show did, unfortunately, suffer from sound issues. The backing music was too quiet and the microphones were too loud, painfully so since the show featured lots of funny screaming moments. With proper mic and sound balancing this will make a perfect show!
Beyond that if you are looking for a fun show to take your kids to at KC Fringe I highly recommend Naked Mole Rat! Maybe pack some earplugs 😉
This show is so fun and adorable! Last year I saw this group put on the Stinky Cheese man, and this production is just as awesome! My 6 year old had a blast and we danced throughout the show.
My only feedback is that there are pieces of the show that are TOO LOUD. My little guy has trouble with sudden loud noises, and covered his ears. After that I tried to anticipate when the actors would scream and cover them for him. But even with that, it’s still a show that I recommend to anyone!
Fast & Furiously Fun for all ages! Loaded with jokes and innuendos, this show is vibrant and invigorating!
The limited audience participation was great, it helped make it feel more of an organic homegrown type of performance. A few other actors prancing around before start time was also a fun interaction and made people feel welcome and personal!

Lovely show! Some audience participation, but it’s all fun! Definitely bring kids, they enjoyed it, but it was fun for the adults too. High energy, high volume, & pretty funny.

It was a wonderful evening of highly energetic players. My group was greeted right away by actors at the door looking to set the rock and roll tone of the show. Aside from some evident technical hiccups, the play was consistent and the kids definitely had fun.
Beautiful show with a great message, cast and crew all did an amazing job!! Incredibly high energy performance kept me engaged and entertained, it didn’t even feel like an hour went by!!
Funny and entertaining. Great choreography. A show for all ages. Wish the tech for the mics was better to do the singing justice. Highly recommend it
This is single handedly the greatest show I have ever seen! The music and the characters make the whole experience amazing. It’s fun for both kids and adults, and teaches the importance of wearing clothes. Seriously though, if you can, go see it before it closes.
