WOW!!! I’ve been coming to FringeFest for a few years now, but this was the first dance crew I’d decided to check out. I almost think that’s a shame now, since any troupes to follow have to measure up to THIS one! Such a great cast of characters telling a story both new and old, flowing from style to style and blending them in awesome ways. And, not to spoil anything, but after a mild “costume change” by one character I just about lost my mind in awe of what they were capable of. I’ll be looking for this group’s name in the 2024 program 😀

Make sure you sit somewhere that you can watch the footwork as much as the upper body moves (though the tutting, especially, was *chef’s kiss*). As a certified Short Person I quickly made the decision to stand and watch from the side aisle, and I’m so glad that I did! MAKE SURE TO COME SEE THIS ONE!!!

INCREDIBLE! BEST DANCE SHOW BY FAR! The cast are so incredible in telling a story just by dancing! Love how they make the atmosphere feel so energetic and fun. AMAZING ACTING! Rock.Chalk!
Y’all HAVE TO SEE THIS ONE!!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the new location of the Art’s Asylum was so close! It’s basically at the corner of 65th and Rockhill.

Stingy Lulu was a high energy, never-stop-moving joy ride!

I am so happy I came to this show on opening night! It is such a fun showcase of different dance styles. Especially dancer Michelle, the one who played the “villain” totally blew me away!! These performers are talented and have a lot of heart. Please come back to Fringe next year, too!

Sit up close to see those expressions. The portrayal of tension through hip hop and street moves worked well. Keep your eye on the Dealer, too. A+++
Fast-moving, quality entertainment. This is one dance concert they expect a little hootin’ and clappin’ from the audience. Way to go Maya and all the dancers, as well as House of Dragons and KC Fringe!

Fantastic performance! This show is one of my top three Fringe favorites over the six years I’ve been going. The energy, the choreography, the story, the music…YES! There was an instant connection with the audience that didn’t stop. I was enthralled! This is a high-quality production everyone should see!

Wow! I’ve been going to KC Fringe for many years and this is one of the best shows I’ve seen. Certain Fringe shows through the years have stayed me and this will definitely be added to the list. The talent and physicality of the dancers was impressive. And their acting was very captivating. I can’t recommend this show enough!

Great dancing and I loved the epic Dance Battle! My favorite was the dancer who was given the magic red sneakers. If this show is expanded, I would like to see more of her storyline and what happens to her when and if the red shoes come off.
