In March of 2020 a group of us road tripped to Arkansas to hunt for quartz, a week later we emerged from the woods into a world locked down. I worked as a therapist with international clients throughout Covid, and started making trees to cope with the uncertainties. At times I struggled to see the forest (global pandemic) for the trees (the people I cared about who suffered).
