Man, there was soooo much going on in this comedy that it was hard to keep up! We were laughing out loud so many times, and a few times I was thinking “I don’t know why this is so funny, but it IS! We’ve been Fringing for almost 10 years and it was one of the best comedies I’ve seen at Fringe.
A great show with lots of variety and jokes for everyone! I loved the zany future reality the cast was able to produce for the audience. It was established early and we didn’t want to go back to present day! Another hit show from Jamie Campbell, and his talented cast of comedians and performers!
Leave it to Jamie Campbell to make time travel accessible & hilarious.. It was like a sampler platter of comedians which always my favorite menu choice. So many surprising takes on 2025 & just made us laugh. And if you don’t like to laugh, then come for Jamie’s illuminated shoes- they are divine!
I’ve been to and in many sketch shows over the years, and this show breaks my top five favorite shows of all time. Every sketch is solid, every character is totally committed. I laughed (too) loud the entire time, and my cheeks hurt well after the show ended. SEE THIS SHOW!!
If you share my opinion that the world as we know it will not last another 20 years, let alone one hundred, then this is your ONLY chance to see what comedy will look like a century from now! Featuring some of KC’s funniest people who are wholeheartedly committed to their performances, 2124 is a variety show that adds up to more than just the sum of its parts by the times it concludes!
Such a delightful romp into the future!
I love this show. I admit I already adore every person in this show, so I knew I was gonna love it. And it still completely exceeded my expectations.
It’s a cohesive show that somehow manages to highlight everyone’s individual writing styles and voices and showcase their acting and comedic talents.
Finland versus Hymen will live delightfully rent free in my head for the rest of time. ( MacKenzie Reed Brian Zehnle Tiffany Michelle Lily Gojcevic )
As will the spontaneous crowd participation yelling, “Buuuuut…” to Aaron Mayer ‘s fantastically portrayed, super cringy AF character.
I loved seeing Irene M. Manning shine with a stand up character bit. And Nathan Thomas continuing to crush up with stand up AND ventriloquism.
I’m still not sure what Forest Kinsey did, but it was brilliantly executed and I was in stitches the entire time.
Leave it to Michael Stoufer and David Bis to bring the absurd to life perfectly. Hb Ridley brought it all home and wrapped it up in a big beautiful tidy finale bow. Bravo to Jamie Campbell and Katherene Garry and the entire cast!!
Go see this show!
Wow! What a spectacular commentary on what comedy might look like in the future!!!! Without giving too much away, I loved was the lil future dance Jamie does in between each comic.
although I know most of the actors off the stage, everyone committed so fully to their parts that for that hour I was introduced to new characters that I will not soon forget!
The future looks bright?
Go see the show! 😎
What a production! This show was hilarious and I was really impressed with the talent of every cast member on stage. Every piece of the show was unique to itself yet it all tied in together. The ending of the show was my favorite and left me wanting more. It’s hard for me to fathom what the world will be like in 100 years but for an hour I felt like I was there already! Great show! Don’t miss it! Five stars!
2124 was hilarious. I wanted it to be two hours long instead of only an hour. This is such a funny, talented group of actors/writers. I can’t wait see what they all do next.
Saw this last night and I absolutely LOVED IT! The performances were incredible and each bit was hilarious and unique but they all helped build different aspects of a consistent shared universe. Very impressive.
Super fun and creative comedy show!! Set 100 years in the future the stand-up comics brought interesting characters and fun dynamics to the mix! Go watch this show! No more spoilers from me other than this: it’s so good, make time to check it out before the time rift closes!
What a fun performance that showcases so much KC comedy talent.
I haven’t laughed this hard at sketch in ages. This show was so well written and predicting what a 100 years into the future will be like was hilarious (and dare I say probably spot on!)
The entire cast brought their A game and then some. Every sketch can totally stand on its own and yet each piece connected beautifully. GO SEE THIS SHOW!!
Jamie Campbell strikes again! This time with a futuristic comedy show which gains comedy momentum with an absurdity that parallels plausibility, making the absurd, completely normal. That strange mind body spoken word thing that Forest Kinsey did was like poetry. I Recommend all of it.
