Beth Byrd-Lonski and Dean Hatton shared their art—physical theater, including mime, clown, comedia del arte—with about 20 of us in an informal and interactive Practical Mime workshop that was overflowing with knowledge and techniques—lots of demonstration and practice, plus history & commentary. Not all artists share so their time and knowledge so generously. We were very lucky to have performers of such high caliber offer us this workshop (and for $20!), in addition to their creative Fringe Festivsl performances. (I’m hoping for more in the future.)
