Beth’s breadth of knowledge in Theatre on the stage, back of stage, front of house, in the board/staff rooms across the globe gives her a unique position to understanding all aspects of creating, producing, fundraising & selling your artistic product. She will guide a 2 hour workshop with time for questions & brainstorming collaborations.

- If you have shows you are currently planning on producing, pitching or negotiating-by all means Beth is happy to be specific to your actual work and if they have materials to discuss from blurbs, ads, marketing, networking, production, development, touring Fringe or in general, casting, creating, collaborating, the raw facts of business, or anything specific to their unique needs… let’s delve!

BIO:

Beth Marshall (Producing Artistic Director of Beth Marshall Presents (BMP_, Former Producing Artistic Director of Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival, Former VP of Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals/Co-Founder of The United States Association of Fringe Festivals, 30x BEST of FEST Fringe Touring Producing Artist) & Core Artist w/ KCMO's BIG BANG BUFFET)

Originally from Paducah Ky, Beth spent part of her high school at St. Paul's Boarding School in Concordia Mo, Graduated from Stephens College in Columbia Mo. with a BFA in Theatre, BS in Math, Minor in Women Studies. She spent the early parto of her career in theatre in Kansas City Mo. as an actor/director/theatre teacher/producer in the early 90's.

Beth Marshall has been involved in The Fringe Global Movement since 1996. She began as a Volunteer, Actor, Director, Show Producer, Stage Manager, Associate KIDS FRINGE Producer, Asscociate Producer, Executive Producing Artistic Director, Sponsor, Donor, Creator of Programing Globally & Touring Artistic Producer. She has held thousands of workshops, classes, panels, talks, and Board/Staff/Artist Consultations including leading workshops for KC FRINGE in the start of the KC FRINGE 20 years ago with Staff, Board and Artists.

She is thrilled to be back with KC FRINGE for the 20th Annual Festival.
