Description:
Welcome to The School of Magically Meta Studies! Learn firsthand from our founder, Rachel, how the word “meta” is the most powerful tool in our life kit for understanding ourselves, our stories, and the world in which both are realistically grounded. With a dash of sparkle, a glitchy shadow, and a banker’s box full of legos, the classroom becomes a metascape to explore identity, trauma, and cycles. For the magical heroes, the monstrous villains, and the main characters with god complexes alike.

Rachel takes you on a magical, heart warming (and breaking) journey from start to finish. The level of production from the stage props to video incorporation will leave you giggling, cheering and sucked into the action. I think everyone can find a piece of themselves in Rachel’s story. After watching the performance, I felt like I left a movie that made me want to go back in for a second, third, fourth time to catch all the details.
The School of Magically Meta Studies made me laugh, cry, and laugh some more! Rachel introduces us to the different personas that make up who she is in a way that is truly open, honest, and vulnerable. The use of audio/visual effects brought extra magic to the show, allowing the already excellent storytelling to further come to life! 10/10 would recommend!
That’s So Magically Meta is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Joining Rachel on her pilgrimage through her past and how she experiences the world was a captivating journey. The use of visual effects was engaging, clever and well executed.
I cant wait to see where the story goes next…
An unforgettable experience! The story, the production, the performance – all of it was excellent.
A unique exploration of a person’s life, experiences, and perception of events. A fun blend of engaging visual effects but also thought-provoking and emotionally-stimulating insights. Very good storytelling. 5/5
Rachel Fair’s a fundamentally introspective and empathetic person, and her creative work echoes that completely.
That’s So Magically Meta takes you inside her psyche, thoroughly and honestly evaluating the experiences driving her behaviors and anxieties, encouraging the audience to do the same. It’s honest, raw, funny, and original. You’ll leave readier to embrace your own Dawni Rae.
Rachel did an excellent job of bringing the workings of her inner mind to the audience. The writing, presentation, and video were very creative and communicated her message perfectly. You learn about her life, her challenges, and how she has made it through life and continued to grow. She is a wonderful person who is working to become even better. She wants to share her experience with those around her so they can grow too. Come and learn at The School for Magically Meta Studies!
Being the center of attention does not come easy for everyone, myself included. Rachel Fair tackles this fear head on by putting on a solo performance in The School of Magically Meta.
Rachel takes us on a ride that explores core memories from her past and how they impacted her then and present self. Her magical world building, creative storytelling, and Sailor-Moon-esque visuals will have you captivated, laughing, and crying (I did) till the very end.
(Thanks to The School of Magically Meta, I have now been pinpointing things that are meta in my world ✨)
A beautiful, brave performance that seamlessly merges video interactions with a captivating public performance! Rachel did a fantastic job connecting with the audience as I heard (and contributed myself with) gasps, cries, laughs, and cheers throughout the performance!
An amazing and heartfelt lesson on story telling, life, and being true to yourself. You will laugh, cry, and be ready to go on more adventures with Rachel, Dawnie Rae, and even Rachie. Both times left me feeling very magically metal!
