If you're like us and see a lot of theatre in the metro, we see repeat performers in shows, and get to watch these artists grow overtime and flourish in a variety of different roles, but rarely does this community get to see them take a step back, and show off their own artistry, and step out "the character".

my song is not just any old cabaret - our performers from across the country have all landed here in Kansas City, to perform a piece that means something personal to them. Each artist gets the chance to tell their story; no fabrications, no glam, just live art and local stories.

With surprises such as multimedia elements, like videography and photography enhancing the live performances, this show is not one to miss.

With the world being as chaotic and messy as it is right now, we all could use sixty minutes to breathe. So come and sit back, take a deep breath, and spend some time with us.
