If you're like us and see a lot of theatre in the metro, we see repeat performers in shows, and get to watch these artists grow overtime and flourish in a variety of different roles, but rarely does this community get to see them take a step back, and show off their own artistry, and step out "the character".
my song is not just any old cabaret - our performers from across the country have all landed here in Kansas City, to perform a piece that means something personal to them. Each artist gets the chance to tell their story; no fabrications, no glam, just live art and local stories.
With surprises such as multimedia elements, like videography and photography enhancing the live performances, this show is not one to miss.
With the world being as chaotic and messy as it is right now, we all could use sixty minutes to breathe. So come and sit back, take a deep breath, and spend some time with us.
You're not watching a group of performers-you're supporting community, and giving Kansas Citians a voice.

The entire cast was so talented, so entertaining and emotionally powerful to watch.
This show was executed so well and really showcased the performers talent, pleasing to listen to and to watch
Tons of talent in this My Song show where each artist is introduced to the audience via a well-shot video, giving the performance a unique and personal connection. It’s a must see!
So much talent in one performance! Will be following these performers on social media to see what they do next! Sandstone KC did a phenomenal job putting this show and these performers together for my song!
This show was really good and fun to watch.
I loved the cast in this show. Everyone was so talented and different. I liked how in the short video each artist got to explain why they picked their particular song. This show is a must see!
Unfiltered stories by real KC performers set this caberet apart from any other show you will see. The performers are high caliber singers showing their true selves and you can see and feel their joy!
