Welcome to the weird world of NED. Ned’s Night Hole Live” is a fever dream disguised as the strangest TED talk you’ve ever seen. I was immediately taken by the nerdy, yet confident candor of Ned as he leads the audience through a hypnotic and seemingly amorphous evening of bizarre entertainment. With the help of his scantily clad cohort of weirdos, Ned’s goal to make an audience member cry is often diverted by their ability to make us laugh.  At times the chaos of audience interaction threatens the structure of the performance but one thing is certain about this show – these actors are tight. They listen well to one another, they guide the show, and are ready for almost anything.
The production was smooth and impressive. A robust sound design, meme-worthy projections, and some killer props really puts this show in a league of its own amongst other Fringe offerings. It is the perfect encapsulation of Fringe and all things weird. Don’t miss this one of a kind experience!
