Growing up, I always enjoyed art and nature, as an adult those hobbies began to intertwine leading to me starting my small art business, Life and Death Designs. All of my insects are legally imported from sustainable butterfly aviaries where they are collected and graded based on quality then sent to me to be combined with other natural elements foraged on hikes around kansas city. From butterflies, to mushrooms, to crystals, all materials are real natural components.

I love hiking, foraging, and teaching people about different insects as well as the ways that butterfly farming helps to prop up the ecosystem as a whole. You can find my work at Elsewhere Apothecary in Lees Summit, West Bottoms Plant company in the historic west bottoms, and at The Kansas City Museum in north KC.
