Show Description

INSIDE/OUTSIDE takes a poignant look at the beauty and brutality of humanity through the playful eyes of a ten-year-old whose world is stripped from her after a military grade high security surveillance border wall is built in her town. Things change when another girl is found on the beach on the other side of the wall, separated from safety and family.

  1. Keith Sadler

I always forget how much a live performance affects me. I knew the story before seeing the live performance and I was still very moved by the performance. The show itself takes about an hour but the intimate setting, the story had a major impact upon me. I can’t wait to learn more about Palestine. Tell your friends.

  2. Kathy

A poignant reminder of what’s happening in many parts of the world today. The characters were believable, realistic, and immersed me in the play.

  3. Lindsay Elizondo

Very relevant story brought to life in a personalized way. Good acting and strong message.

  4. Jen Raines

The use of sound and light brought the whole scene to life. The staging set a bold statement and the acting was brilliant. Really enjoyed this show.

  5. Chris Cole

Heartbreaking and sadly relevant. Topped off with a super impressive set piece.

  6. Brian Duskey

The beauty is in the details.

This is a very simplistic show but that is what makes it so successful. Director Christina Foltz creates an intimate atmosphere that makes the audience feel like they are in the world that she has created. There are long moments of silence and discomfort that go into creating this feeling of dread that haunts the real-world war zones that the story is depicting. The show isn’t meant to put you at ease or feel safe. It’s here to show us the terrifying reality of the world we live in, whether we see it or not.

  7. Dominique Lorae

Good acting from the cast and a great and relevant story. Also love that they partnered with local Arab/Palestinian organizations to raise awareness and donate to a great cause.

  8. Taylor Hudson (verified owner)

Impressive seat piece and solid performances, I just wanted more story.
