Show Description

Step into the cosmos with “Legends of the Night Sky”, a breathtaking aerial and circus arts experience from Circus Scorpius. In this celestial journey, myth and movement intertwine as twelve vivid vignettes bring to life the ancient stories behind the zodiac constellations.

From the fierce strength of Leo to the delicate balance of Libra, each act explores the mythological roots of the zodiac signs through mesmerizing aerial performances, acrobatics, contortion, juggling, and dance. High above the stage, aerialists soar as gods and monsters, heroes and lovers, weaving the lore of the stars with gravity-defying grace.

Whether it’s the duality of Gemini depicted through partner acrobatics or the watery depths of Pisces captured in a lyrical aerial sling routine, every vignette invites the audience to rediscover the timeless tales that have lit our skies for millennia.

Blending narrative, movement, and powerful visuals, “Legends of the Night Sky” is both a spectacle and a storybook—told not on pages, but in the air. This immersive, family-friendly production celebrates the wonder of myth and the artistry of circus, transporting audiences beyond the earthly realm and into the magic written in the stars.

Come witness the myths come alive. The night sky awaits!

  3. Zoe Spangler

There are so many talented artists on this show! I am always astounded and impressed by the variety of skills displayed by circus performers. Aerialists are remarkable for their work but I wanna give some love to the jugglers, modern dancers, and acrobatic performers who did awesome work, too! I also love seeing people of all ages and skill levels get a chance to live their dream. And lastly, I hope everyone gives a dozen roses a piece to each of the riggers who seamlessly pull acts, perform scene changes, and make the entire show look the way it should. Kudos, Circus Scorpius!

  4. Imogen

One of my favorite performances! The themes were fun and it’s hard to pick a favorite individual piece.

The juggling piece (Sagittarius) is up there though. A ton of dynamic movement, lights, objects, mixed with the centaur marching around shooting “arrows”, it was mesmerizing.

The group pieces for lyra and then the hydra were also great.

Kudos to everyone involved, from the performers to the choreographers to the stage crew who helped somehow make 12 pieces possible in such a short time.

  5. Joel Whitaker

Absolutely breathtaking. An amazing assortment of performers with a fantastic survey of ancient myths, Zodiac signs, and constellations.

  6. Rita Danaher

  8. Emily Moreno

Amazing show with a very talented cast! The first routine was probably my favorite, the aerialist was amazing and the acrobat had my jaw on the floor. I also loved the juggling and aerial ribbons at the end.

Had a blast! I was very impressed by everyone especially the trapeze performer, the girl in the orange at the beginning of the show did a couple of things that I didn’t even think were humanly possible!
