Are you living in America & wondering what the f*CK is happening and why? Of course, we all are. Mr. Doper and his little friend Bobby follow nearly 300 years of manifest destiny & global catastrophe as they teach you how we got so completely f*cked up. Not for kids.
Sh*try Deal Puppet Theatre Company is a manic thrill ride filled with biting social satire and filthy hand puppets filled with excessive swearing, offensive historical events, and tons of ketchup. What you are about to see is shitty.

Sh*tty Deal Puppet Theatre performed at the KC Fringe in 2008, and Card Table Theatre participated in the KC Fringe in 2023 with The Last Word is Hope: A Bipolar Biography, which won Best Show in Venue for the Bowery space.

A quick and fun run through our history. I wish I had counted how many puppets were in the show, I guarantee your guess is wrong. I enjoyed hearing the little commentaries from behind the curtain. Watch out for capitalism, and splash warning!

This show is a LOT of fun. Very irreverent, but also very topical and very relevant. Also, hilarious and surprisingly dark. This show was exactly what I wanted it to be.
