Fringe Review

Fringe ABILITY is a delightful show by The Martin City Melodrama & Vaudeville Co. at the Unicorn Theatre. It features cast members of varying abilities singing, dancing, doing magic and playing piano like an old-time vaudeville show. Hosted by the adorable Jeanne Beechwood of the Martin City Melodrama, Wilson Reynolds and Talen Miller join in the fun as puppeteers and to provide humorous comments and segues between the various acts. Hayden and Heath Nichols perform a cute magic routine that had everyone laughing at their brotherly barbs and antics. The routine about Ritz crackers was thoroughly entertaining, with Morgan Ball tap dancing as a jar of Nutella in “Puttin’ on the Ritz.” Kayleen Speers sang a sweet song about our precious four-legged friends that showcased three “Pawformers” joining in the act. The rest of the cast performed pantomime, silly word jokes, dancing, and music.  I highly recommend this show – it will put a smile on your face the entire time!
