Help, I’m Trapped Watching Amazing Improv!

July 25, 2026

Improv Springboard does it again! If I had to be trapped anywhere, it would be trapped watching this incredibly talented group of performers transport me and the rest of the audience into wildly funny and absurd situations that are inescapable in the best of ways.

I laughed a lot. I laughed so much my cheeks hurt. I laughed so much, I had to turn to my friends to check and see if they were laughing Just as much as I was. I could be wrong, but I think that’s what you want in a comedy show. Go see it!

This group of people work so well together, and the show was smart, creative, and fun. The songs they created were catchy and hilarious. Musical direction was great as well.

This was such a fun show! I was so impressed with how quickly and fluidly the group produced scenes and songs and kept us all laughing in our seats! I want to see this show every day really, and it hurts that I can’t!

Big Laughs from some of KC’s Funniest!

July 23, 2026

I’m lucky enough to know pretty much the entire cast of this show, so I may be biased, but I sure am proud of the work that everyone in Improv Springboard is doing. These women and non-binary performers make the kind of bold choices that are possible when you feel fully supported by your fellow artists.

I loved watching the moments their emotions heighten to the point where they have no other option but to burst into song. The ensemble isn’t afraid to get weird, and their scene work is unpredictable, hilarious, and worth the ticket price! If you’ve got to be trapped, a musical’s a pretty great place to be stuck!
