Show Description
Martin City Melodrama & Vaudeville Co. is a 40-year-old professional theatre in the Kansas City metro. In 2014 our mission evolved to include uniquely-abled actors of all ages and senior pawformers, rescue pups from area shelters. Martin City Melodrama is thrilled to be part of the KC Fringe this year. We proudly present our newest original show, Fringe-ABILITY. This all-inclusive vaudeville revue features uniquely abled, community, and professional actors and children. This comic theatrical piece features pantomime magic, song, dance, puppetry, and jokes from historical entertainment. Each performer gets a chance to shine and show their merriment and talent. Also joining the shenanigans will be a few senior pawformers. Come laugh with us as we showcase making the invisible, VISIBLE!

Artist & Show Details:
I have long attended KC Fringe over the years. In 2024, I wrote a story on them for the Martin City Telegraph that was published in print and online. In 2006 and 2008, our theatre was chosen to participate in the International Fringe Festival in New York. This is our first time performing with our uniquely abled actors with the KC Fringe. We are thrilled for the inclusion surrounding this production, Fringe-ABILITY.
Kansas City Star, “Martin City shows vaudeville is new again. Also brings new joy to old dogs.”
Martin City Telegraph, “The real dedication is providing family entertainment to our area for 40 years. The performers of all abilities are bright and energetic.”
