Awards, Quotes and Reviews

2 reviews for The Strong Black Girl is A Myth

  1. Richie Johnson

Cia and Victoria have voices that are seriously angelic, and they represent angelic beings in this beautiful show. The sounds of them singing sounds like a professional recording but it is them live. Some of the speaking is echoed in the space so you may miss some of that but it’s still a beautiful show.

  2. Joe Zabinski

A powerfully liberating elixir of story surrounding the tension of identity and society. They have a beautiful message for every single person on this green earth, woven deftly into 80’s and 90’s Black cinema, Afro future sci-fi and gently hilarious crooners and church aunties. Come for the unhinged dialog, stay for the mystery and power. It’s an initiation into believing in yourself. There are depths here worth the witnessing.
