Show Description

Victoria Montalbano deals with her problems like most struggling actors: escaping reality into the world of Doctor Who. When she finds a skin abnormality during a global pandemic, she has to face a monster scarier than any Dalek…Middle Age. Timey Wimey Stuff asks the hard hitting questions: “Does donating plasma count as a day job?”, “If I had a time machine, would I use it to help people, or just make out with hot bad guys?”, and finally, “What is the legacy of a middle aged struggling actor?”

Awards, Quotes and Reviews

6 reviews for Timey Wimey Stuff: The Mid Life Crisis of a Time Traveling Space Archaeologist

  1. Cody Lindenberger

This show is everything that Fringe is for; a humorous look into the mindset of a professional entertainer who hasn’t quite “made it” yet. If you are a performer you will feel seen and understood!

  2. Cody Lindenberger

This show is what Fringe is all about. Bold and fearless, if you’re a performer you will feel seen.

  3. Tim Mooney

Wow, did I identify with this show. With occasional side trips to question how our heroes on Doctor Who might struggle through this lifetime, an actor who spends much of her time on soul-sucking day jobs, questions her priorities and life choices, comparing her life choices to her former schoolmates, assessing the value of her contribution to the universe under the looming shadow of middle age…!

Hilariously self-aware, and bravely indefatigable, with the occasional glimmer of triumph.

I loved it and I know almost nothing about Doctor Who.

  4. Jen Raines

Victoria shares her passions and her journey in a fun and engaging show. I was so excited to see this show after seeing “The Princess Strikes Back” at KC Fringe a couple years ago. Victoria is funny and relatable, her sincerity makes the show click with the audience. Really enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to seeing more great work of hers in the future!

  5. Jessica Deterding (verified owner)

So many good questions and ideas brought up to really make you question what it means to have a legacy, pursue your goals and dreams and the cost that can have, and while pursuing those how do you continue to live a muggle life knowing you should be out among the stars and wondering why you aren’t. It was full of passion, heart, truth, and humor that was a great time to be a part of.

  6. Danielle Anderson

This one woman storytelling show pulls you in and charms you! I didn’t know much about Doctor Who, but Victoria guided the audience through the characters and her love of the show to make it make sense. The show is honest and upfront about the emotions one experiences in a pandemic, in a dead end job, in a life long pursuit of ones passion, and the journey of constantly comparing yourself to others.
