We attended the opening performance on 7/18 and had such a blast. My partner, Mason, was the audience participant/story provider and it was his first time at an improv show. We thought the cast did a great job creating such a detailed, absurd, and entertaining play. I loved watching how well the performers played off each other and seemed to work really well as a unit. Would love to see this group again some time!

Great long-form improv!! Worth every bit to see what they come up with!
Michael –
A really solid improv show! I was impressed with what I saw on opening night. It can be really hard to keep a narrative going for an entire hour, but they succeeded. There were great jokes, fun physical comedy and the cast had great chemistry. Definitely check this out!

These improv artists are captivating! They work with each other to create a unique full-length story, with wacky characters and convoluted plot lines that somehow intersect with each other. I’ve seen this show twice now—it’s worth coming back for!

You could attend every single show and they’ll have a completely different/new show: the magic of improvisation! What makes Hot Ham and Cheese good is the performers, they’re talented and they play very good together.

This was my first time at an improv show and I absolutely loved it! The actors did such an amazing job creating and acting a hilarious story on the spot. Everyone had great chemistry, and there were definitely multiple moments where I thought everything had been meticulously rehearsed.
This was awesome! Would love to watch another!

This show ruled. Every improviser was so bought into the story. As mentioned in previous comments, doing an entire improvised narrative for an hour is TOUGH STUFF, but not tough for the hot ham and cheesers. Keep it up y’all! Go see this one if you get a chance!

Loved this cast, this format, and just a very solid improv show. Particularly impressed by the dramatic chops of some of the performers that made the comedy even stronger when bounced up against. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to see some long form improv in this year’s Fringe.

Have you laughed so hard you were embarrassed at how hard you were laughing? That was my experience watching this show.
Jen Raines –
A quirky improv show where a simple story from an audience member was spun into an entertaining story. The cast is incredibly talented and plays so well off each other. I laughed so much while being embroiled in a no name steakhouse Sweeney Todd situation. Great show, totally recommend!
Mackenna –
It was super fun! I didn’t stop laughing the whole hour. Watching people come up with such fun witty story’s off the top of their head’s is honestly very impressive.
Kacy Barta –
It’s so impressive to see this group perform together! Never rushing to the joke, Hot Ham and Cheese takes their time to listen and connect with each other as they form their characters seamlessly. My favorite part is when they surprise even themselves with their cleverness. They have a lot of respect for their scene partners on stage as well as their audience. I hope to see Hot Ham and Cheese a lot more in projects throughout the year as well as future Fringe Shows.

I love watching long-form narrative improv, and this team gave that improv form the justice it deserves! The team had great chemistry with each other and that made them so entertaining to watch. I was laughing consistently throughout their show as the improvised plot unfolded in so many wacky ways. Make sure you check this show out!

Hot Ham & Cheese was just the right snack to jiggle my funny bone and lift me up out of the emotional funk I was having that day I saw the show.
It was so fun watching the improv & players working so tight together. Great chemisty they had a group. I could envision that night’s sketch becoming a quirky, funny, episodic, tv series. And I will never look at an HOA the same way ever again.
